Police: Yale Safe After Possible Gunman Hoax Call

Yale's Emergency Management service had earlier confirmed a previous report that said there was a man with a gun near Old Campus in New Haven, where many freshmen dormitories are based. Esserman said at a press

NEW HAVEN — Yale University began the day Monday with a campus lockdown and swarms of law enforcement officials, but ended it with sighs of relief as reports of a gunman appeared to be a hoax.
