Former Auburn and Tennessee Titans kicker Rob Bironas died in a single-car accident late Saturday near his home in Nashville, Tennessee. He was 36. The Metro Nashville Police Department announced the news via its official Twitter feed early Sunday.


Bironas, who lived near where the crash occurred, lost control of his SUV and went off the road, striking several trees before coming to rest upside down, according to Jim Wyatt of the Tennesseean. He was transported to
